Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat urological conditions such as:
- Kidney stones
- Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
- Bladder disorders
- Prostate diseases
- Male infertility
- Perform surgical procedures, including:
- Minimally invasive surgeries
- Endoscopic procedures
- Prostate surgery
- Conduct diagnostic tests:
- Ultrasound
- CT scans
- Urine and blood tests
- Provide treatment plans and prescribe medications
- Monitor patient recovery and follow-up care
- Counsel patients on preventive healthcare and lifestyle changes
Educational Qualifications
- MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
- MD/MS in General Surgery or Urology
- MCh (Urology) or DNB (Urology) specialisation
