Job details:
- Evaluate patients with urinary or reproductive system issues.
- Diagnose conditions through physical exams, medical history, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for urological conditions.
- Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle changes.
- Conduct surgeries such as kidney stone removal, prostate surgery, and tumor removal.
- Perform minimally invasive and endoscopic procedures.
- Treat conditions like kidney stones, urinary tract infections (UTIs), prostate disorders, and incontinence.
- Monitor and manage long-term urological diseases.
- Interpret imaging tests such as ultrasound, CT scans, and cystoscopy.
- Perform diagnostic procedures related to urology.
- Monitor patient recovery post-treatment or surgery.
- Provide follow-up care and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Work with nephrologists, oncologists, and other specialists.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care for complex cases.
- Educate patients on preventive care, hygiene, and lifestyle modifications.
- Provide guidance on managing urological health.
Qualifications required
MBBS + MS (General Surgery) + MCh/DNB in Urology
Valid medical registration (NMC / State Medical Council)
