Job SummaryThe Trade/Distribution Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end Replacement Program, ensuring accurate management of returns, credits, product replacements, and related logistical challenges. This role serves as a key escalation point for complex replacement scenarios and partners cross-functionally to resolve issues that impact revenue integrity, therapy start timelines, and operational efficiency.
This position leads data analysis and trend identification across internal systems and Sites of Care (SOCs) to uncover recurring operational, financial, and logistical challenges. Align with UroGen and Nesco to ensure all accounts are loaded correctly based on their account set up with contracts. The role translates insights into actionable process improvements, driving resolution in collaboration with stakeholders across Trade, Finance, Market Access, Patient Access, and third-party partners.
In addition, the role provides project management leadership supporting Market Access and Patient Access initiatives, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment across multiple functions. Responsibilities also include managing pricing updates with external stakeholders, analyzing and processing credit rebills, and overseeing external GPO rosters in partnership with Finance to validate quarterly payments.
The Replacement Program Manager contributes to strategic initiatives focused on standardizing workflows and SOPs, strengthening cross-functional coordination, and improving overall operational effectiveness across the organization.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- Minimum of 1 years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device experience
- Consistent track record of performance
- Minimum 1 Market Access Experience or relevant division
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to communicate cross functionally and with internal and external stakeholders, assist in many facets of operations/ market access
- Resourceful, creative, enthusiastic, and results-oriented
- Ability to travel with overnight stays required
- Valid driver’s license required
Job responsibilities
Position Summary The Trade & Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing all downstream commercial operations related to returns, GPO administration, credit/rebill processing, and chargeback reconciliation. As UroGen continues to scale, this role ensures revenue integrity, contract compliance, and a seamless customer experience for physicians, specialty practices, distributors, and partners. This position serves as the primary owner of trade operations, coordinating across AssistRx, Cardinal 3PL, distributors, finance, and commercial teams to manage increasing transaction volume and complexity.
Returns Management- Own and manage the end‑to‑end returns and replacement process across AssistRx, Cardinal 3PL, and customers
- Monitor and reconcile increasing returns volume (projected ~600+ in 2026 as sales scale 2–3x)
- Ensure timely processing, accurate documentation, and resolution of discrepancies
- Serve as the primary point of accountability to protect customer experience for physician offices and specialty practices
- Identify trends, root causes, and process improvement opportunities to reduce returns risk
GPO Administration & Contract Alignment- Manage all GPO rosters, affiliations, and membership updates
- Ensure accurate contract alignment and distribution of pricing and eligibility data to 3PLs, distributors, and home office
- Own quarterly GPO payment calculations, validation, and processing
- Partner with Finance and Legal to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
- Transition GPO management from contractor support to internal ownership for continuity and control
Credit & Rebill Management (Buy‑and‑Bill)- Oversee all credit and rebill activity within the Buy‑and‑Bill channel as Zusduri scales
- Ensure credits and rebills are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time
- Minimize cash‑flow disruption and administrative burden for physician practices
- Partner cross‑functionally to resolve issues and improve turnaround times
- Support a positive purchasing experience for Jelmyto and Zusduri customers
Chargeback Management & Reconciliation- Own monthly chargeback reconciliation with Cardinal 3PL
- Validate chargeback accuracy against GPO and contract pricing
- Investigate discrepancies, identify trends, and prevent recurring issues
- Ensure financial accuracy while minimizing downstream customer and distributor friction
- Support scaling chargeback volume as Zusduri adoption grows
Cross‑Functional Collaboration- Act as a key liaison between Sales, Finance, Legal, Market Access, Supply Chain, AssistRx, Cardinal, and distributors
- Support audits, data requests, and leadership reporting related to trade operations
- Contribute to process standardization and scalability as commercial volume increases
- Own and lead end-to-end oversight of the Return/Credit/Replacement Program, including management of escalations related to product returns, credits, replacements, and associated downstream logistical challenges, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
- Analyze Replacement Program performance data to identify recurring operational, financial, and logistical trends. Translate insights into actionable recommendations that mitigate revenue loss, reduce therapy start delays, and improve overall program efficiency through cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and Sites of Care (SOCs).
- Manage pricing updates (quarterly and semiannual) with external stakeholders, including analysis and processing of credit rebills to ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity.
- Provide project management leadership supporting Market Access and Patient Access initiatives by coordinating timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Oversee external GPO roster management and partner closely with Finance to validate quarterly payments, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and internal controls.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives focused on improving operational effectiveness, standardizing workflows and SOPs, and strengthening collaboration across Trade, Patient Support, Market Access, Finance, and third-party partners.
