Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Video Editor & Content Creator focused on sports content. The role involves editing and producing versatile sports videos for digital & social media platforms, including highlights, reels, promos, and long-form content.
Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing raw footage (at times), selecting key moments, applying transitions, color grading, audio consistency, and integrating motion graphics and static graphics to enhance storytelling. During Live season, the responsibilities also include shooting on-site (for short-form social media content).
The Video Editor & Content Creator will collaborate closely with creative & social media team members to develop engaging concepts and ensure brand consistency across all outputs. Live season content is a key part of the role.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in sports and related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of sports culture and storytelling, including experience with formats such as Reels, match highlights, fan stories, and social media graphics.
- Strong skills in Video Production, including planning shoots, handling footage, and structuring storylines for sports content.
- Working Video Editing skills to cut, assemble, and refine compelling sports narratives across short and long-form formats.
- Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create overlays, scoreboards, leaderboards, and other visual elements that elevate sports storytelling.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing and design tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or equivalent) - knowledge and experience of AI tools will be preferred.
- Ability to shoot short-form video content (e.g., Reels and social media videos) will be highly preferred.
- Experience collaborating with creative and account teams and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates must already be based in Bengaluru for this role.
