Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Architecture: Design and implement scalable data models (Star Schema) and manage complex Power BI Apps for large-scale distribution.
- Performance Optimization: Conduct deep-dive performance tuning on DAX, Power Query (M), and Report Rendering.
- Capacity Management: Monitor and optimize Fabric/Premium Capacity metrics to ensure cost-efficiency and performance.
- Automation & Scripting: Use TMDL, DAX Studio, and Python to automate model deployments and administrative tasks.
- Governance & Standardization: Drive the adoption of standard templates, version control (Git integration), and comprehensive PBI documentation.
- Cloud Integration: Manage Power BI Service settings, Service Principals (SPN), and integrate with Azure/Databricks ecosystems.
- Guide and mentor developers: Experience in mentoring & guiding fellow developers
Technical Skills Required
- Primary: Power BI (Expert), DAX, Power Query, Tabular Editor, Power BI Service Admin knowledge.
- Cloud/Infra: Azure Data Factory, Service Principals (SPN), Azure DevOps/Git.
Good to have Scripting/Code: Python, SQL, Databricks (Medallion architecture), Power Automate (for alerting/workflows), Figma (for UX/UI design).
