Role: Senior Pega Developer
Location: Hyderabad/ Bangalore
Join a leading consultancy firm delivering large-scale digital transformation initiatives. This role focuses on building and enhancing Pega-based solutions for enterprise clients across diverse industries. You will work on high-impact projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications.
Experience Required
- At least 6 years of hands-on Pega development (mandatory)
- CSA (Certified System Architect) certification (mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance enterprise Pega applications covering case management, data models, and business rules
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Own delivery across the full SDLC, including design, development, testing, and deployment
- Design system, data, and integration architecture aligned with Pega best practices and guardrails
- Implement integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., databases, directory services, APIs)
- Conduct code reviews, ensure quality standards, and support releases
- Troubleshoot performance issues and provide post-production support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers
Core Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Pega BPM (case design, rules management, branching strategies)
- Experience in Agile delivery environments
- Solid understanding of integrations and APIs
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, JavaScript, and web services
- Familiarity with application and web servers (e.g., JBoss, WebLogic, Apache, IIS)
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Background
- Exposure to domains such as Financial Services, Insurance, or Healthcare
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms
- Knowledge of test automation tools and debugging techniques
