Job Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce Service Cloud to Zendesk Migration Specialist who can support the
end-to-end migration of customer service operations from Salesforce Service Cloud to Zendesk.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Zendesk implementation, customization,
and configuration, along with a strong understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud architecture to
ensure a smooth migration of workflows, tickets, knowledge base, and integrations.
This role requires involvement across the entire lifecycle including solution design, migration
strategy, development, configuration, and deployment support.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support migration activities from Salesforce Service Cloud to Zendesk.
• Analyze the existing Salesforce Service Cloud setup including workflows, automation,
ticketing structure, and integrations.
• Design and implement Zendesk architecture and solution framework based on business
requirements.
• Configure and customize Zendesk features such as:
o Ticketing workflows
o Triggers and automations
o Macros
o SLA policies
o Knowledge base (Zendesk Guide)
• Perform data migration including tickets, customer data, and historical records.
• Build or assist with API integrations between Zendesk and third-party systems.
• Ensure data integrity and minimal downtime during migration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, support teams, and technical teams during implementation.
• Provide post-migration testing, validation, and support.
Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in customer support platform implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Zendesk implementation and configuration.
• Good understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud architecture and capabilities.
• Experience in platform migration or system transformation projects.
• Familiarity with:
o Zendesk APIs
o Workflow automation
o Ticket lifecycle management
• Experience in solution design and technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote distributed environment.
Preferred Skills
• Prior experience in Salesforce to Zendesk migration projects.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and system integrations.
