Role Description
The Sales Manager for Kobelco Excavators will lead sales activities in the Dhanbad area, driving growth and meeting sales targets for the region. Responsibilities include identifying and engaging new clients, maintaining client relationships, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role also involves market analysis, strategy development, and collaborating with internal teams on product promotion and inventory management. This is a full-time hybrid role, based in Dhanbad with some flexibility to work from home.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Sales and Marketing, including ability to generate leads, close deals, and manage accounts effectively.
- Experience in the construction or heavy mining machinery industry; knowledge of Kobelco Excavators and related equipment is an advantage.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills for client interactions.
- Ability to analyze market trends, develop sales strategies, and meet revenue targets.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, data analysis, and reporting to track sales performance.
- Strong organizational and management skills to lead sales teams and coordinate with internal departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Previous experience working in or with clients in Eastern India is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel within the Dhanbad region, as required, to meet clients and oversee sales operations.
