We are currently hiring for the role of a Supplier Account Executive for a leading firm based in Mumbai
Role-Supplier Account Executive/B2B Sales Executive
Loc: Andheri
Shift: dayshift
Salary range – Max upto 7lpa
Minimum Exp: 3yrs plus
Notice Period: immediate or 15days will do
Reports to: Customer Growth Manager (or other relevant titles as the role may evolve over time)
Skills: B2B/Saas Environment /CRM Sales/Retention
Travel Requirements: Travelling may be required.

Results & Responsibilities:-
REVENUE
• Convert qualified leads into paying customers
• Sell Achilles products and services to supplier organisations
• Conduct outbound sales calls and manage opportunities through to close
• Cross-sell and upsell to maximise revenue
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Meet daily activity KPIs (calls, talk time, follow-ups)
• Support buyer-led onboarding campaigns
• Manage annual subscription renewals for assigned accounts
RETENTION
• Build strong relationships with supplier customers
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Proactively review accounts to maximise value from subscriptions
• Promote platform usage through insights and reporting
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
• Manage win-back of lapsed supplier subscriptions
DATA QUALITY
• Work with Data Validation teams to resolve incomplete or missing supplier data
• Track expiring documents and support timely updates
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (MS Dynamics)
• Create and update customer profiles, pipelines, and contact logs
• Update and maintain customer details and account records using in-house applications
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
• Maintain regular contact with customers throughout their subscription
• Making outgoing calls and responding to incoming queries in a timely fashion
• Highlight issues from Supplier adoptions and escalate to Buyer Account Management
• Hitting average daily KPIs (both in terms of calls and minutes)
• Provide first-line support to customers on system, issues & queries; resetting passwords, providing guidance on
system usage, and escalating issues to IT or the Customer Success Team as necessary.
• Familiarise self with buyer and supplier organisations through research and team collaboration
TEAM
• Attend monthly team meetings to discuss issues, suggestions, and improvements
relating to the running of the sales team.
• Take part in morning huddles to review previous day and to set daily objectives
• To work within a framework of corporate standards and policies.
• Develop new skills through attendance at formal training, participating in group
workshops, and undergoing coaching with experienced agents

Knowledge
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly:

PowerPoint (customer-facing or internal presentations)
Comfortable working with CRM systems (MS Dynamics preferred)
Structured selling knowledge preferred but not required
Sector knowledge preferred but not required
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with supplier customers across US, Canada, UK, and other Western markets
Strong ability to adapt tone, language, and messaging when communicating with international customers ensuring cultural sensitivity and clarity
Comfortable handling sales conversations, objections, renewals, and customer queries with global suppliers over calls, emails, and virtual meetings
Able to explain products, processes, and next steps clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing Experience
Experience in account management, sales, or customer service, Retention & renewal roles preferred
Experience working with Mandarin-speaking customers strongly preferred
Experience in SaaS, subscription-based, or B2B environments is an advantage
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, or a related field – preferred
• Equivalent relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
• Professional sales or account management training (e.g. structured selling, customer success, or relationship management programs) – advantageous
Skills required
- Excellent spoken and written English, with confidence engaging suppliers across US, Canada, UK, and other Western markets
- Strong sales, account management, and objection-handling skills in a B2B/SaaS environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and comfortable using CRM systems (MS Dynamics preferred)
- Ability to adapt communication style culturally and professionally across global customers
- Comfortable handling sales conversations, objections, renewals, and customer queries with global suppliers over calls, emails, and virtual meetings
Job role summary
- Manage and grow a portfolio of supplier accounts, driving revenue through new sales, renewals, upsell, and retention
- Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, ensuring strong relationships, satisfaction, and data quality
- Work closely with sales, data validation, customer success, and audit teams to deliver a seamless supplier experience
