Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Accountant, located at Nalagarh. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for cost analysis, budgeting, and financial planning for our textile manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring production costs, analyzing cost structures, preparing cost reports, and ensuring effective cost control across the organization. This role will also support senior management with financial insights and data-driven analysis for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze product costing and detailed cost sheets for textile products.

• Monitor raw material, labour, and overhead costs involved in manufacturing.

• Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs and identify improvement areas.

• Prepare monthly cost reports, MIS reports, and financial analysis for management review.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost allocation as per cost accounting standards.

• Work closely with production, operations, and finance teams to control and optimize costs.

• Analyze profit margins, cost structures, and cost optimization opportunities.

• Maintain proper costing records and compliance with cost accounting practices.

• Assist in internal and external audits related to costing and financial reporting.

• Prepare and review journal entries and financial statements related to cost accounting activities.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Costing

• Minimum 5+ years of core experience in Cost Accounting

• CMA (Cost & Management Accounting) certification is mandatory

• Prior experience in Textile / Yarn / Fabric Manufacturing industry preferred

• Strong analytical, financial analysis, and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools

• Ability to prepare cost reports, MIS, and financial insights for management

Salary Budget : upto 65K
