## Urban Planner – M.Arch Preferred
### Job Title
Urban Planner / Urban Designer
### Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and creative Urban Planner with a strong academic background in Architecture and Urban Planning. The candidate should possess an M.Arch degree with knowledge of urban planning principles, master planning, urban design, GIS-based planning, and sustainable development practices.
The role involves working on master plans, urban development proposals, land use studies, infrastructure planning, and urban design projects while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
### Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparation of Master Plans, Local Area Plans, and urban development proposals
* Conduct site analysis, reconnaissance surveys, and land use assessments
* Prepare urban design concepts, zoning plans, and planning reports
* Work on GIS/QGIS-based spatial analysis and mapping
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and government agencies
* Support preparation of presentations, drawings, and technical documentation
* Analyze infrastructure, mobility, and public space requirements
* Ensure projects align with planning standards and development regulations
### Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch)
* Master’s degree in Architecture (M.Arch) — preferably in Urban Design / Urban Planning / Landscape / Sustainable Architecture
* Strong understanding of urban planning concepts and urban development policies
* Knowledge of planning standards, zoning regulations, and sustainable planning principles
### Preferred Skills
* AutoCAD
* GIS / QGIS
* SketchUp / Revit
* Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
* MS Office & Presentation Skills
* Report writing and data analysis
### Experience
* Freshers or candidates with 0–3 years of experience can apply
* Internship/project experience in urban planning or urban design will be an added advantage

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Interest in urban development and sustainable city planning
