Role Description The Urban Planner will work on comprehensive urban and regional planning projects, with a focus on sustainable land use, infrastructure integration, and environmental considerations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing master plans, conducting site and demographic analysis, coordinating land use and zoning proposals, and contributing to environmental and infrastructure planning studies. The role involves collaborating with engineers, environmental specialists, and financial analysts, preparing reports and presentations for clients and regulatory authorities, and supporting stakeholder consultations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, requiring regular coordination with project teams and clients to deliver high-quality planning solutions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Urban Planning and Planning skills for developing comprehensive plans and policies.
- Candidates should possess Regional Planning skills to address growth, infrastructure, and resource allocation at a broader geographic scale.
- Candidates should possess Environmental Planning skills to integrate sustainability, impact assessment, and mitigation strategies into urban projects.
- Candidates should possess Land Use Planning skills to design effective zoning, land allocation, and development control frameworks.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Urban Planning, Regional Planning, Environmental Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in GIS and planning-related software, and ability to interpret maps, spatial data, and technical drawings.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills, with attention to detail and clarity in communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple assignments, and meet project deadlines in an on-site environment.
- Familiarity with local and national urban development regulations, environmental policies, and infrastructure standards is an advantage.
