Role Description The Upvc Windows and Doors Installation role at PT Green Wood Furniture is a full-time, on-site position based in Pedakakani. The installer is responsible for measuring openings, preparing work areas, and installing UPVC windows and doors according to technical specifications and safety standards. Daily tasks include handling tools and materials, aligning and fixing frames, fitting glass and hardware, sealing joints, and performing quality checks to ensure proper function and finish. The role also involves reading installation drawings, coordinating with the production and site teams, addressing minor adjustments or repairs, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The installer is expected to follow company procedures, meet project deadlines, and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess practical skills in UPVC window and door installation, including accurate measuring, frame alignment, hardware fitting, and sealing.
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of hand and power tools, basic carpentry or joinery techniques, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality inspection, attention to detail, and adherence to safety regulations and site protocols.
- Candidates should possess good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to work on ladders or scaffolding as required.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with site supervisors and work crews.
- Relevant experience in UPVC installation, construction, or fenestration work is highly beneficial; vocational training or certification in a related trade is an advantage.
- Ability to follow instructions, manage time efficiently, and maintain a clean and organized workspace is required.
