About the role

The Associate Data Scientist works independently using a robust math toolbox to discover solutions for a diverse portfolio of interesting and challenging problems. The Associate Data Scientist works collaboratively with the Scientist to develop, implements, and monitors advanced analytic, medical informatics, and predictive modeling tools for health care programs. Responsibilities: Responsible for conceiving, planning, designing, developing and validating robust algorithms for use in analyzing health care models. Develop and implement basic machine learning models under the guidance of senior team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions. Works with science team to design, develop, and implement health care analytic and biomedical modeling programs. Identifies the business problem, data exploration, modeling, communication of final results, with the assistance of the science team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data science, Engineering, statistics or Mathematics with at least 3 years of relevant experience required OR Master's degree in computer science, Data science, Engineering, statistics or Mathematics required. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python preferred. Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods. Person must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, enthusiasm and initiative on a daily basis. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment a must. Ability to design programs to analyze complicated scenarios. Attention to detail is critical to the success of this position
