Senior DevOps Engineer - RightAnswers

DevOps Engineer Job Description Opportunity Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join Upland India as a DevOps Engineer in the RightAnswers team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for automating the build, deploy and infrastructure management processes for the RightAnswers product. You will work closely with the development team to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the RightAnswers product - Automate build, deploy and infrastructure management processes - Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure hosting the RightAnswers application - Collaborate with the development team to improve engineering best practices and processes - Implement security best practices in the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure - Drive innovation and adopt new technologies to improve efficiency and reliability - Provide technical support and guidance to the RightAnswers team Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or a Site Reliability Engineer - Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure management, preferably on AWS - Proficient in scripting and automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc. - Solid understanding of containers and container orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI - Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Good communication and collaboration skills
