Role Description This is a full-time, unpaid internship for a Website Developer cum Social Media Manager, based on-site in Dwarka. The intern will support the design, development, and maintenance of the organization’s website, ensuring that it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and technically sound. Daily tasks include working on front-end and back-end web development, updating content, and optimizing the site for performance and usability. The role also involves managing social media channels, creating and posting content, monitoring engagement, and aligning online communication with the organization’s mission and ongoing projects. The intern will collaborate with team members, support campaign planning, and help strengthen the organization’s digital presence to reach and engage more supporters.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Web Design to create responsive, accessible, and visually engaging websites.
- Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and general Web Development to maintain functionality, security, and performance.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for managing social media, drafting posts, and engaging with online audiences.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and content scheduling tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Dwarka, collaborate with a diverse team, and manage time effectively in a full-time internship setting.
- Relevant coursework or prior project experience in computer science, web development, digital media, or related fields is beneficial.
- Interest in social impact, child education, and women’s empowerment, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
