Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a University Placement Counselor located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The University Placement Counselor will assist students in identifying educational goals and creating plans to achieve them. Responsibilities include providing individualized career counseling, guiding students on college and university selection, conducting training sessions, and preparing students for admission interviews. Additionally, the role involves engaging with universities to understand program offerings and admission processes to better support students.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and academic institutions.
- Proficiency in Career Counseling to guide students in academic and career decision-making.
- Experience in Interviewing and Training to prepare students for admissions processes and beyond.
- Ability to research and maintain updated knowledge of colleges, universities, and their academic programs.
- Empathy, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to address students’ specific needs and aspirations.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field is preferred.
