Part Time Temporary Turn Help to support our community during a busy turn period. This role will assist with a variety of tasks related to the make-ready process and preparation of new move-ins under the direction of the
Maintenance Supervisor and
Community Manager. It is a great opportunity for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in getting units move-in ready, and is willing to support the team where needed.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areas
- Office organization and administrative work
- Responsible for daily clean- up of the exterior of the community, including grounds, breezeways, and all common areas
- Participate in unit inspections as requested
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities requested by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager – including painting, fixing, building, reading directions, sorting, and other miscellaneous activities
- Providing excellent service to residents, guests, employees, and contractors.
- Reporting maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager for review.
- Assisting in other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Willingness and desire to learn.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, carry, push, and pull for an extended periods of time
- Able to be an effective team player and interact well with others
