About the role

The Department of Psychology at the University of York is looking to appoint a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant to work on a project funded by the Wellcome Trust exploring the neural and cognitive mechanisms underlying intuitive decision-making. You will be working closely with Professor Casasanto and his team, and will be responsible for designing and running behavioural experiments, analysing data, and writing up results for publication. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and productive research group and to contribute to high-profile research at the intersection of psychology, cognitive science, and neuroscience. The successful candidate will have a PhD in psychology, cognitive science, or a related field, and experience in experimental psychology and data analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also essential.
