The Research Scientist Specialist will perform single cell and spatial assays using technologies by 10X, BD, PARSE, Lunaphore and others. This position involves initial consultation with users to define their experiments and determine what technologies/techniques will be used. The Research Scientist Specialist will schedule experiments, order the necessary kits and reagents, and perform molecular biology reactions as required for library preparation and sequencing. Qualifications
Doctorate degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience OR Master's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and seven (7) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Preferences
Extensive experience with all aspects of quantitative molecular biology (single cell RNAseq, PCR, RT-PCR, sequencing, barcoding, hashing).
Experience in molecular biology.
Preferred degree in molecular biology or biological sciences
