University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to our clients in Romulus, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily personal care tasks, ensuring their comfort and well-being in their home environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Help with mobility and positioning to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Provide assistance with meal preparation and feeding, as needed.
- Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate client needs and concerns to supervisory staff.
- Demonstrate respect, patience, and empathy towards clients at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a personal care or caregiving role is an asset, but NOT required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy.
- Must pass background check and have valid identification.
