Professor of Practice

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has introduced the "professors of practice" initiative to enhance industry-academia collaborations within higher education in India. Successful individuals from various fields with at least 15 years of proven expertise in their professions will be eligible to teach specialised disciplines that are in line with industry requirements. The engagement is for a fixed term, which is extendable up to four years.
