Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, AI & Society

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University at Buffalo (UB), State University of New York, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level in the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its societal implications. We are particularly interested in candidates whose research focuses on the ethical, legal, and policy aspects of AI, and its impact on individuals, communities, and society. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an impactful and externally funded research program, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and contribute to the department's and university's service and outreach activities.
