Work Schedule
- 4–5 days per week, with flexibility in scheduling
- Part-time or full-time opportunities available
- Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management
- Prescribe, administer, and monitor psychotropic medications, including long-acting injectables and controlled substances
- Provide crisis intervention and clinical support as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Actively participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary case conferences
- Perform health screenings and support the integration of physical and behavioral healthcare
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, peer specialists, care managers, and other clinical staff
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation in accordance with OMH regulations and standards
Requirements
- Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license and certification, with a specialty in psychiatry (NPP preferred)
- Active DEA registration and authorization to prescribe controlled substances in New York State
- Experience working with adults diagnosed with SPMI and/or co-occurring disorders
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-based care model
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Clean, valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual abilities are a plus!
