About Us
We are Nubridge Publishing, a British children's educational company creating engaging language-learning experiences for children. We are currently working on our next big hit; Glurbs, a gamified learning application featuring gamified lessons and games.
We're looking for a Mid-Level Unity Developer to join our team and help build exciting new features and games for our Unity mobile application.
The Role
You will work closely with our CTO to bring features and games to life, implementing high-quality systems and add to our existing architecture. Games will vary from 2d puzzle games to 3d endless runners.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional Unity development experience
- Strong C# programming skills
- Good understanding of Git or other source control systems
- Ability to work from technical specifications and design documents
- Experience using Scriptable Objects
- Mobile Development (Android & iOS)
- Understanding of mobile optimisation and performance best practices
Nice to haves
- Experience with asynchronous programming (Tasks, async/await, Awaitables, etc.)
- Shrader graph experience
- Experience shipping one or more mobile titles
- Understanding of backend APIs
- Experience with Playfab
Role Details
- Salary: $10 an hour
- Full time - 40 hours a week
- Permanent position
- Working Hours: Ideally 8:30am – 4:30pm (BST). We can offer flexibility for an earlier start, with 7:30am – 3:30pm (BST)
- Agile work environment
- Regular 1-to-1s with CTO
- We will ask for a short technical task during the interview process
