Manager Coding

The key responsibilities of the role would include, but not limited to: - Manage a team of medical coders to ensure timely and accurate coding of medical records - Provide guidance and support to the coding team on complex coding scenarios and ensure adherence to coding guidelines - Monitor coding quality and productivity metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as medical records, provider relations, and claims) to identify and resolve coding-related issues - Stay up-to-date with changes in coding regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices, and train the team accordingly - Contribute to the development and implementation of coding policies, procedures, and quality assurance processes - Assist in the hiring, training, and performance management of the coding team - Provide regular updates and reports to the leadership on the coding team's performance and any key issues
