Schedule: Must be available to work evenings and weekends

Position Overview

We are seeking professional, customer service–driven Security Officers for a high-rise building in Houston, TX. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. Ideal candidates are approachable, dependable, and able to operate with minimal supervision while responding quickly and professionally to situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist tenants and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Monitor building access and ensure only authorized individuals enter tenant spaces
• Conduct visitor check-in procedures in accordance with site policies
• Perform routine patrols of the building after hours to identify safety, security, or facility concerns
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) accurately and thoroughly
• Document and submit Incident Reports as needed
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, tenants, and team members

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Texas Security License (or ability to obtain)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
