This is a Culinary Health Fund Position

The Healthcare Data Analyst will provide data and analysis to support the organization in making data-driven decisions. This individual will be a primary user of our organization’s data warehouse as well as various internal information systems.

Essential Job Functions And Duties

• Collects, compiles and analyzes data to measure and report on provider and program performance
• Responds to requests for data by determining users’ needs, collecting, organizing, and analyzing data, and providing accurate and complete reports
• Works with other analysts to perform a variety of ad-hoc analysis and reports as requested
• Produces standard periodic reports to meet users’ needs
• Identifies ways to improve process efficiency
• Performs checks and audits of various data sources to ensure data is accurate and complete
• Maintains and applies knowledge of current trends, practices and developments in health care

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-years’ experience in a healthcare environment
• Working knowledge and experience in industry coding (revenue codes, ICD 9 classifications, CPT codes, etc.)
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience in a hospital or managed care environment with a focus on claims data analysis, provider contracting or decision support, especially in cost and utilization analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Informatics, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience required
• Advanced level Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Microsoft Excel skills
• 10% ~ 15% travel
  
  

Salary range for this position: Salary: $70,500 - $88,200. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to: relevant experience, qualifications, expertise, certifications, licenses, education or equivalent work experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.

Work Schedule (may vary to meet business needs): Monday~Friday, 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week) as a fulltime remote opportunity (will come in for trainings and meetings, as needed).
