Job Purpose
Bajaj Finance’s digital platforms — including the Bajaj Finserv App, Web, and emerging digital commerce experiences — are transforming how 113 MN+ customers engage with financial services.
This role is responsible for leading brand strategy and execution across marquee initiatives: ATL/BTL campaigns, IP-led properties, brand governance, design systems, events, sponsorships, media planning, brand measurement, and the brand initiatives for Bajaj Finserv Group of companies.
The role involves ensuring consistent and powerful storytelling across platforms and audiences.
You will be required to regularly interact with multiple stakeholders across teams like Design, Product, Digital Customer Experience, IT, and others to ensure all output effectively speak our brand language.
Duties And Responsibilities
Group Brand Unit — Senior Unit Manager (GB04)
Role purpose
Run day-to-day project management and execution: schedules, vendor /agency management, and versioning delivery - so assets ship flawlessly and timelines are met with quality output.
Ensure perfect, consistent brand identity expression across entities and initiatives through approvals, audits, training, and governance operations.
Drive brand system enablement + insights execution: toolkits, templates, messaging playbooks, compliance checklists, and coordination for brand tracking/social listening - so every campaign and entity expresses the master brand consistently.
Run AI execution support: prompt engineering, templates, workflow SOPs, QC, and day-to-day enablement for production / process efficiencies
Core responsibilities
- Maintain and update brand toolkits: messaging ladder, tone of voice, RTBs, proof points, visual + verbal guidelines (in collaboration with Governance on identity rules)
- Run pre-launch brand alignment checks for key campaigns: proposition clarity, message hierarchy, proof compliance, tone checks
- Coordinate brand tracker & social listening outputs: ensure reporting is timely, clean, and used
- Create campaign analysis summaries: what worked, what didn’t, what to change
- Support strategy team in building briefs via audience insights, competitor scans, cultural moments
- Staying ahead of rapidly changing AI capabilities while choosing tools responsibly
- Monitoring of past performance and continuously drive improvement
Tasks managed
- Weekly: brand checks on campaign work-in-progress, toolkit queries from teams, social listening pulse
- Monthly: brand project dashboard updation, project update notes and timelines tracker maintenance
- Quarterly: brand toolkit refresh, audit of adoption & deviations
- There is also a need to actively benchmark competition, keep up with the latest trends in the industry
Skills & Capabilities
- Brand fundamentals: positioning, messaging architecture
- Strong writing skills and clarity (briefs, narratives, playbooks)
- Ai fluency and ideating for integration in all tasks / projects
- Research literacy: analysing data, trackers, social listening, reports
- Process + stakeholder management; comfortable enforcing standards

- Toolkit adoption rate (% entities/teams using latest assets)
- Pre-launch and post-launch checks (1st time right delivery standard to be maintained)

Key Decisions / Dimensions
The role will include but not limit to decisions like:
- Setting standards, systems, and best practices for creation of all brand related output
- Making recommendations on asset creation and adaptations
- Managing production timelines and source-of-truth brand guidelines
- Selecting formats, platform-specific executions, and QC on outputs
- Flagging non-compliance and proposing corrective actions
- Identifying the best channels to effectively create smart, engaging output
- Studying creative performance of ongoing campaigns, drive optimisations to improve key metrics
- Standards, systems, and best practices for AI-enabled marketing outputs
- Recommending formats, best practices and process innovation/automation
- Tool and vendor selection recommendations, onboarding readiness, integration requirements

Required Qualifications And Experience
Masters’ degree Business Administration, Marketing or Finance
Proven experience as a Brand Manager or in a similar role, preferably with exposure to large brand budgets and campaigns
- Work Experience
- 4+ years years brand/marketing experience
- Hands-on experience implementing GenAI in production workflows or extensive use of Ai in process innovation is highly preferred
- Skills
- Strong coordination and project management skills
- Understanding of creative and media fundamentals
- Deep understanding of GenAI workflows for simplifying tasks/processes and where each fits
- Strong operating model design: systems, SOPs, governance, training
- Excellent project leadership: multi-stakeholder alignment, fast execution, structured thinking
- Proficiency in brand QC, proofreading, guideline enforcement
- Ability to work with Gen AI tools for content resizing, adaptation & QC
- High attention to detail, proactive execution mindset
