Role Description
The Unit Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Roorkee. The responsibilities include managing a dynamic team of advisors to achieve sales targets, mentoring and providing strategic direction to the team, and building lasting customer relationships. The Unit Manager will oversee recruitment of agents, provide training, and monitor their progress, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and reporting on sales performance are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or insurance-related roles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Analytical skills to assess market trends and develop strategic plans
- Proficiency in organizational and time management practices
- Knowledge of life insurance products and services is highly advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- Ability to work on-site in Roorkee and adapt to a target-driven, collaborative work environment
