Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Keshwana, Distt. Kotputli-Behror for a Unit Head - Production. The Unit Head will oversee daily production operations to ensure efficient manufacturing processes, manage production plans, optimize resources, and ensure adherence to quality standards. The role also involves managing a team, handling budgets, streamlining operations, and effectively resolving operational challenges. Maintaining a focus on productivity and achieving production targets are key responsibilities of this position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency about handling various types of chemical reactions, thorough knowledge about handling of solvents and various chemicals
.
Ability to arrange the necessary resource in terms of manpower both skilled and unskilled to ensure production targets are met.
Existing Knowledge about synthesis of intermediates for APIs or F&Fs ensuring bettet and optimal utilisation of companys capital intensive resources.
- Proficiency in Production Planning and Production Management
- Strong expertise in Operations Management and ensuring process efficiency
- Team Management skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Experience in Budgeting and resource allocation for cost-effective production
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and production compliance standards
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Production or Operations Management are a plus
- Prior experience in the specialty chemicals or manufacturing industry is preferred
