Position: Post‑Doctoral Research Fellow – R&D
Location: Mumbai or Bangalore
Duration: 12 months (extendable up to 18 months based on project needs)
Stipend: ₹90,000 per month
About The Program
The
Unilever Post‑Doctoral Fellowship Program offers an immersive, structured research opportunity for early‑career researchers to work on high‑impact, applied research challenges within Unilever R&D. The program is designed to bridge academic excellence with real‑world FMCG innovation, enabling fellows to contribute directly to Unilever’s science and innovation roadmap.
Fellows will work on cutting‑edge research problems, translating scientific concepts into scalable, consumer‑relevant solutions, while gaining deep exposure to industrial R&D practices.

Eligibility Criteria
- PhD in Science/Engineering from Indian or global institutes
- PhD completed within the last 3 years
- Post‑doctoral experience: 0–3 years maximum
- Streams Open To (Applicants from any of the following disciplines may apply):
- Chemical Engineering
- Materials Engineering or Materials Science
- Mechanical Engineering
- Chemistry (Organic/Synthetic/ Physical Chemistry/Chemistry)
- Pharma
- Microbiology
- Food technology
- Computational Chemistry
