Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Live-In House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private residence, ensuring a safe, organized, and nurturing environment. This role involves supervising household staff, managing security protocols, coordinating childcare and behavioral health support, and maintaining smooth communication with residents and external service providers. The ideal candidate will be proactive, compassionate, and highly organized, ready to handle a variety of responsibilities with enthusiasm and professionalism. This full-time paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic household while providing exceptional care and support.
Responsibilities
- · Making sure all our clients are up and out of bed by 7 am with their respective living areas clean and free of clutter and chores completed.
· Our home must be always tour ready
· Participating in chores when the client count is low, or they are on a pass.
· Shifts to be determined weekly.
· Unlocking and observing the self-administration of medications.
· Maintaining accountabilities for all clients on meeting attendance.
· Helping clients fill out weekly schedules as well as helping keep clients accountable for weekly schedules.
· Maintain up-to-date notes on all clients
· Maintain First Aide Cabinet Log
· Maintain Pool Log
· Maintain sign-in and sign-out sheets
· Preparing Sunday dinner meals for clients and assisting with clean-up (Unhooked Recovery provides food).
· Be available to speak with any client when needed.
· Perform random drug screenings on all clients.
· Complete all new intakes i.e., paperwork, initial drug testing, bag searches, and filing paperwork immediately.
· Be at home 30 minutes before the earliest curfew to enforce curfews.
· Maintain a “united front” to all clients with other employees.
· Help in maintaining a positive friendly home environment.
· Provide a professional male role model figure in recovery.
· Be sure all clients are accounted for daily.
· Maintain open lines of communication between clients daily.
· Never leave the bedroom door or filing cabinet unlocked.
· Following the same set of rules that are set for the clients.
· Avoid discussing too much personal information with clients.
· A valid fingerprint clearance card is required for this position.
