About Fund Wapas
Fund Wapas is a service company that helps customers recover money stuck in insurance policies. The company works on cases such as unclaimed insurance amount, pending credit amount, and policies rejected due to non-disclosure or underwriting issues. Our goal is to analyze such cases and help customers receive their rightful refunds or claim settlements.
Role Overview
We are looking for freelance insurance underwriters who have strong knowledge of insurance underwriting and claim rejection processes. The role involves reviewing rejected cases and analyzing whether the rejection was valid or if there is any possibility of recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Case Evaluation
• Review rejected insurance claim cases
• Analyze underwriting decisions taken by insurance companies
• Identify possible mistakes in claim rejection
Underwriting Analysis
• Evaluate medical disclosures and policy details
• Check whether rejection is due to non-disclosure, medical history, or policy conditions
Documentation Review
• Review policy documents, claim forms, and medical reports
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in underwriting
Recommendation
• Provide professional opinion on the case
• Suggest whether the case can be reopened, appealed, or refunded
Coordination
• Work with the internal team to resolve complex cases
• Guide the team on the technical aspects of underwriting and claims
Required Skills
• Strong understanding of health insurance underwriting
• Knowledge of claim settlement and claim rejection process
• Experience handling non-disclosure cases
• Ability to analyze medical records and insurance documents
• Good analytical and decision-making skills
Preferred Experience
• Experience working with insurance companies, TPAs, or insurance brokers
• Experience in claim processing or underwriting department
• Knowledge of IRDAI guidelines related to claim rejection
