Role Description The Undergraduate Student role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruppur, requiring active participation in academic and campus life. Day-to-day activities include attending scheduled lectures, laboratory sessions, and tutorials; completing assignments, projects, and examinations on time; and engaging in independent study to reinforce classroom learning. Learners are expected to collaborate with peers on group work, contribute to seminars and presentations, and take part in department and college-level events that support holistic development. The role also involves adhering to institutional policies, maintaining regular attendance, and demonstrating professional conduct within the campus community.
Qualifications
- Strong academic readiness, with successful completion of higher secondary education (or equivalent) in a relevant stream as per the chosen undergraduate program’s entry requirements.
- Effective communication skills in English and regional languages, including the ability to participate in discussions, presentations, and written assignments.
- Foundational study skills such as time management, note-taking, exam preparation, and the ability to work both independently and in teams.
- Basic digital literacy, including familiarity with word processing, online research tools, and learning management systems used by the institution.
- Demonstrated curiosity, motivation to learn, and openness to multidisciplinary and international learning opportunities offered by the college.
- Commitment to ethical behavior, respect for diversity, and adherence to college rules, regulations, and academic integrity standards.
- Participation in co-curricular or extracurricular activities (such as clubs, sports, or community service) is considered an added advantage.
