Senior Technical Design Manager for Asia-Pacific Region

This Senior Technical Design Manager will co-lead the APAC Technical Design team and support product development to implement Under Armour's Development Strategy for the Asia-Pacific region. This role involves implementing robust technical standards, systems, processes, and decisions with a high level of expertise and knowledge. Contributes and leads a team of developers responsible for the development of one or more product categories from design concept to production garment. Communicates with offshore vendors on all technical issues and fosters a stronger understanding of fit and aesthetic. Manages workload and builds/reviews technical packages for one or more categories. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet calendar deliverables. Oversees day-to-day operations, managing the APAC Technical Design Team and monitoring product development timelines and quality standards. Manages product documentation, including technical specifications, vendor manuals, and other system training materials. Able to identify fit issues, perform fit adjustments, and communicate changes to improve fit and function. Owning cross-functional meeting communication for the development team. Must be able to effectively problem-solve design, costing, quality, and delivery issues. Able to dynamically deliver product presentations related to fit and construction.
