Develop and implement data loss prevention strategies, policies, and procedures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential vulnerabilities, risks, and gaps in existing data protection measures, and provide recommendations for improvement. Design, configure, DLP solutions and tools to monitor, detect, and prevent data breaches or leaks across various platforms and endpoints. Conduct regular assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of data loss prevention controls and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to raise awareness and educate employees on data protection best practices, policies, and procedures. Stay updated on emerging threats, trends, and technologies in the field of data security and loss prevention, and provide recommendations for proactive measures. Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new data protection technologies and tools. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and metrics related to data loss prevention initiatives. Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to DLP, ensuring they are up to date and accessible to all relevant stakeholders. Develop and maintain the Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI) to clearly define roles and responsibilities for DLP initiatives, including incident response, policy enforcement, and employee training.
