Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Ultrasound Reporting/Typist role based at Noble Ultrasound in Gurugram. The role involves typing and formatting ultrasound reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity in line with clinical guidelines. Responsibilities include reviewing handwritten or electronic notes from radiologists/sonologists, entering data into reporting software, and verifying patient details and test information before finalizing reports. The Ultrasound Reporting/Typist will coordinate with medical staff to clarify findings or incomplete information, manage report queues, and support timely delivery of reports to patients and referring physicians. The role also includes maintaining organized records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection standards, and following established quality and workflow protocols.
Qualifications
- Strong typing and data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy in medical reporting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, especially related to ultrasound and diagnostic imaging, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Experience using computers, reporting software, and basic office applications for document creation and formatting.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work closely with radiologists, sonologists, and front-desk staff.
- Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple reports, and work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards in healthcare documentation.
- Prior experience in a diagnostic center, clinic, or hospital reporting/typing role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification: Higher secondary (12th pass); a diploma or certification in medical transcription, healthcare documentation, or related field is an added advantage.
