Title: Assistant Lab Manager
Location: Las Vegas, NV

Reporting to: Lab Manager
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in setup, test, and documentation of laboratory and field ballistics testing.
- Utilize and maintain all laboratory equipment.:
- Ensure that all testing meet Ultimate Ammunition or published standards.
- Collaborate ammunition engineers and shooters to ensure testing protocols for new and existing ammunition is complete.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports, and daily or weekly summaries for testing events.
- Document experimental results, analysis, and insights for internal and external stakeholders, including compliance agencies.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support:
- Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and refine testing protocols for new and existing materials.
Miscellaneous:
- Continuously strive for excellence
- Perform other duties assigned by Laboratory Manager
Education:
- Ballistics, Mechanical Engineering, or related work experience in pressure or force testing.
Experience:
- Understanding of weapons handling, safety protocols, laboratory testing.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 products
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in safety-sensitive environments and adhere to industry standards.
Working Conditions:
- Office and laboratory environment with potential for fieldwork in testing ranges
- Ability to handle hazardous materials safely.
- Occasional travel for field testing, customer support, and industry events.
- Ability to work in a high-security environment with adherence to strict confidentiality protocols
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
