We are seeking a Data Scientist I with solid python skills, data analysis experience, and a good foundation in statistics to join our System Analytics team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a small team of data scientists and interact with scientists and engineers across the company. You will develop monitoring and alerting infrastructure, generating insights to improve system performance. Day-to-day assignments will include gathering requirements, implementing new alerting features, and analyzing trends across large numbers of sequencing experiments. This is a full-time 6-month contracting position based in Fremont, California.
