Sr IT Engineer Cloud

As a Sr IT Engineer - Cloud, you will be responsible for architecting and driving the implementation of cloud-based solutions in support of Ulta Beauty's cloud transformation journey. This role will work closely with application development teams and infrastructure teams to seamlessly integrate cloud solutions into Ulta Beauty's overall technology landscape. Key responsibilities include: - Lead the design, deployment, and operational support of cloud infrastructure services (compute, storage, network, database, security, etc) leveraging leading cloud platform(s) (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Develop automated provisioning and configuration management capabilities to ensure consistency and scalability of cloud environments - Establish and maintain cloud security standards, access controls, and monitoring/alerting capabilities - Collaborate with application teams to understand their requirements and architect optimal cloud-based solutions - Participate in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning initiatives - Contribute to the development of cloud-based CI/CD pipelines and release management processes - Mentor and enable the broader IT team on cloud technologies and best practices
