Lead Software Engineer-AI

As a Lead Software Engineer focused on AI, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying cutting-edge AI/ML solutions that power mission-critical applications for UKG's customers. You will work closely with product management, data science, and other engineering teams to deliver innovative, scalable, and reliable software that creates value for our customers. Responsibilities: - Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and maintainable AI/ML solutions that solve complex business problems - Lead a team of software engineers in building AI/ML models and productionizing them - Collaborate with data science, product, and other engineering teams to understand requirements and identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML - Ensure quality, performance, and reliability of AI/ML solutions through rigorous testing and monitoring - Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML technologies and best practices and drive innovation within the team - Mentor and guide junior engineers in their professional development Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong background in AI/ML - Proficient in Python, TensorFlow, Keras, and other popular ML frameworks - Hands-on experience in building, training, and deploying production-ready AI/ML models - Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, data preprocessing, and model evaluation techniques - Experience in building scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance distributed systems - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail - Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Experience in leading and mentoring a team of software engineers is a plus
