About the Role
We are looking to hire an experienced Assistant Manager in UK Personal & Partnership Tax to support and manage our self-assessment compliance portfolio. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing SA100 (individual) and SA800 (partnership) tax returns, including tax returns with rental property income and MTD submissions.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review UK self-assessment tax returns (SA100, SA800) for individuals, partners, and partnerships.
- Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure timely submissions and compliance.
- Prepare and file MTD for Income Tax submissions, including rental property MTD filings.
- Liaise with HMRC regarding client matters, queries, and compliance issues.
- Work closely with internal teams and clients to obtain necessary information and resolve queries.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and provide advisory support where required.
- Assist in supervising junior team members and reviewing their work.
- Ensure compliance with UK tax legislation and internal processes.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in UK personal & partnership tax compliance.
- Strong knowledge of self-assessment filing and HMRC procedures.
- Experience preparing and reviewing SA100 & SA800 returns is essential.
- Experience with rental property tax returns and MTD filings.
- Proficient in TaxCalc / CCH / Digita or similar tax software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and client management skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.

Qualification
Qualification-
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com)
- MBA (Finance preferred)
- CMA
- CA (Qualified/Semi-Qualified)
