Role Description The UK Curriculum Trainer – Teacher Training, Early Years & Care Courses is a full-time, on-site role based in Harrow. The trainer designs, delivers, and evaluates training sessions aligned with the UK curriculum for teacher training, early years, and care programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and training materials, facilitating engaging workshops and classes, and assessing participant progress through assignments and feedback. The role involves supporting learners with guidance and mentoring, maintaining accurate training records, and collaborating with colleagues to improve course content and delivery methods. The trainer also participates in curriculum updates, quality assurance activities, and ensures that learning environments remain inclusive, safe, and aligned with regulatory and institutional standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear presentation, active listening, and the ability to adapt content for diverse learner needs.
- Candidates should possess Training skills such as curriculum delivery, workshop facilitation, and learner assessment aligned with UK education standards.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide responsive learner support, handle queries professionally, and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
- Candidates should possess Teaching skills, including classroom management, lesson planning, and experience in early years or care education.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to help promote courses, explain program benefits to prospective learners, and contribute to enrollment growth where required.
- Relevant teaching or training qualification (e.g., PGCE, PTLLS/DTLLS, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Experience with UK curriculum frameworks in teacher training, early years, or care courses is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and documentation skills, with proficiency in basic digital tools and learning platforms.
