Role Description The UK Auditor is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore, responsible for supporting UK-based clients with audit and assurance services. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing financial statements, testing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant UK accounting and auditing standards. The role involves preparing working papers, documenting audit findings, and supporting the development of recommendations to improve client processes. The UK Auditor will work closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders, manage deadlines across multiple engagements, and maintain accurate, timely documentation. This position requires strong professional judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting and auditing principles, including experience with UK GAAP, IFRS, or equivalent standards.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, reconciliation, and the preparation and review of financial statements.
- Ability to assess internal controls, identify process gaps, and document audit evidence in a structured and clear manner.
- Competence in using accounting and audit software, spreadsheets, and other digital tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Relevant professional qualification or progress toward one (e.g., ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Experience working with UK-based clients or international audit engagements is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team setting in Coimbatore and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
