Role Description
Papercare is seeking an experienced and proactive UK Accountant (for a managerial position) to join our team in Ahmedabad. This is an on-site leadership role requiring a self-driven professional who can independently manage UK accounting assignments, lead a team, and maintain strong client relationships through effective verbal and written communication.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in UK accounting, team management, and the preparation and review of financial records, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of work.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proven experience managing a team independently.
- Solid understanding of UK accounting principles and year-end accounts preparation.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and preparation of accounting working papers.
- Experience in preparing draft corporation tax computations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with cloud software, including Xero, QuickBooks Online (QBO), and Sage.
- Experience using accounts production and tax software such as IRIS, TaxCalc, or similar applications.
- Ability to communicate accounting queries clearly and professionally with clients.
- Strong organisational, leadership, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
