Role Description The UI UX Trainer will be responsible for delivering classroom-based training on user interface and user experience design to aspiring developers and designers. This full-time, on-site role in Kochi includes preparing course materials, designing training modules, and conducting interactive sessions, workshops, and project reviews. The trainer will guide trainees through design principles, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and design tools, while providing feedback on assignments and live projects. Responsibilities also include updating training content based on industry trends, mentoring trainees on portfolios and career paths, and collaborating with the institute’s team to improve program quality and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in UI design, UX design, wireframing, and prototyping using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and translating user insights into intuitive interfaces and interaction flows.
- Ability to structure and deliver training, create curricula, and assess learner performance in a classroom or lab environment.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) and design systems to communicate effectively with developers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, accessible manner.
- Prior experience in UI/UX roles within industry or academia; training or teaching experience is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in UI/UX.
- Commitment to inclusive teaching practices, continuous learning, and staying updated on current UI/UX trends and standards.
