About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and visionary UI/UX & Product Design Lead with 10+ years of experience in designing enterprise-grade digital products and user experiences. This role requires a strong blend of product thinking, UX strategy, visual design excellence, and leadership capabilities.
You will lead the end-to-end product design lifecycle — from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity UI systems and design governance. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, AI teams, and leadership to craft intuitive, scalable, and modern user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
This is a high-impact onsite leadership role based in Chandigarh.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & User Experience
- Drive product design vision aligned with business goals and customer outcomes
- Translate complex workflows into intuitive, user-friendly experiences
- Conduct user research, usability studies, journey mapping, and persona development
- Define information architecture, interaction models, and user flows
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams during product discovery and roadmap planning
UI/Visual Design
- Design modern, elegant, and scalable interfaces for enterprise and AI-driven applications
- Create wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and pixel-perfect UI designs
- Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable component libraries
- Ensure consistency across typography, spacing, color systems, accessibility, and branding
- Design responsive experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms
Design Systems & Collaboration
- Establish organization-wide UI/UX standards and governance
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure accurate implementation
- Work with AI/GenAI teams to design conversational and AI-assisted experiences
- Participate in sprint planning, product reviews, and stakeholder discussions
- Align design decisions with technical feasibility and business priorities
Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead and mentor UI/UX designers and product designers
- Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Foster a strong culture of creativity, innovation, and user-centric thinking
- Drive continuous improvement in design processes and workflows
Research & Innovation
- Stay updated with latest UI/UX trends, AI-driven interfaces, and emerging technologies
- Benchmark products against industry leaders and recommend improvements
- Advocate accessibility, usability, and inclusive design practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Design Expertise
- Strong portfolio showcasing enterprise product design and UX problem-solving
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layouts, spacing, and interaction design
- Experience designing SaaS, AI, Cloud, Data, or enterprise workflow applications
- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles
UX & Product Thinking
- Ability to conduct user research and convert insights into actionable designs
- Strong knowledge of usability principles, heuristics, accessibility, and design psychology
- Experience creating design systems and scalable UI frameworks
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum product development environments
Technical Understanding
- Good understanding of frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, React, and component-based UI architecture
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams
- Familiarity with AI-assisted interfaces, chat-based UX, and modern SaaS product patterns is a strong advantage
Leadership & Communication
- Proven experience leading design teams and handling multiple products/projects
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field
- Certifications in UX/Product Design are a plus
