About The Role
We are seeking a talented and innovative visual designer to join Naya’s dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling visual stories that communicate complex ideas clearly and engagingly. Your work will influence how users perceive and interact with our platform, helping to shape the visual identity of Naya. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to produce a wide range of visual content, including social media campaigns, product highlights, presentation decks, and internal storytelling materials.
This position requires a versatile designer with a strong foundation in graphic design, UI/UX principles, and animation. You should be passionate about storytelling through visuals and eager to experiment with new approaches to inspire users and drive engagement. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, break down complex processes, and develop innovative solutions will be crucial to your success. As part of our remote-first team, you will have the opportunity to work flexibly across different time zones while contributing to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, product design, or animation, preferably within a startup or fast-paced environment. A formal education in graphic or UI/UX design is preferred. You should possess a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to craft engaging visuals, animate concepts, and develop cohesive design systems. Technical proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar is essential. Experience with animation tools and techniques is a plus.
Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills, a growth mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A keen eye for detail, pixel perfection, and a passion for quality are vital. You should also be comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and a proactive attitude towards feedback and iteration are important for thriving in our remote-first culture.
Responsibilities
Design and develop visually compelling stories, graphics, and animations that effectively communicate product features, updates, and brand messages. Translate ideas, features, and updates into engaging visual content for various platforms, including social media, presentations, and internal communications.
Define and evolve the visual identity of Naya by establishing consistent typography, graphics, motion, and tone across all touchpoints. Collaborate with product teams to create micro-campaigns that highlight new features and innovations, inspiring users and driving engagement.
Gather and incorporate feedback from users, teammates, and stakeholders to refine design concepts and ensure alignment with business goals. Break down complex processes into clear visual narratives, helping to articulate a compelling story that resonates with diverse audiences.
Own the end-to-end design process for new features, from initial scope and sketches to high-fidelity prototypes and final handoff. Pay close attention to flow, interaction details, and visual hierarchy to create seamless user experiences. Ensure all visuals meet high standards of quality, consistency, and pixel perfection.
Contribute to internal storytelling efforts by distilling complex information into easily understandable and engaging visual stories. Use your creativity and technical skills to produce innovative and impactful designs that support Naya’s growth and brand evolution.
