About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic team at Extreme Networks. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network solutions that support our clients' business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal network performance, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and software, along with excellent problem-solving skills. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or administration.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking hardware and software.
- Familiarity with network security principles and solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure solutions.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime.
- Implement security protocols and measures to protect network integrity and data privacy.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct routine network audits and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and recommend enhancements to improve system efficiency and security.
- Provide technical support and training to team members and end-users as needed.
